These are strategies for learning reading and writing print skills. The first column in Overview Table 6 focuses on decoding/reading skills, and the second column on transcription/writing skills.

These strategies, and the skills that they support, work together to enable children to meet Reading Foundational Standard 4 from the Common Core State Standards.
