Writing Standard 4 - Organization:
Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.


Grade-specific expectations for writing types are defined in Writing Standards 1, 2 and 3, and this eliminates the need for separate grade-level standards for Writing Standard 4.
Students who meet this standard are probably effectively applying the following CBAL strategy type from the competency model:
